Hi, I’m James, a product designer who is curious about the design decisions that keep users coming back.

I’m studying Digital Media Art at San José State University and I currently lead design at Gradient Predictions, where I work across product, branding, and growth to shape a new approach to prediction markets.

I’m most interested in products shaped by culture, competition, and discovery—the kinds of experiences that become part of people’s routines rather than simply helping them complete a task.

When I’m not designing, I’m listening to music, playing tennis, doing portrait photography, improving my Spanish speaking skills, or exploring ideas that eventually find their way back into my work.
